Black Widow is an iconic female superhero thanks to Scarlett Johansson and her role in the Avengers. As a part of my Avenger Beanie set of course I have to make a Black Widow beanie.

This hat is created using the same pattern as my Captain America, Winter Soldier and Spider-Man beanies.
Materials:
- Size 6 double sided knitting needles
- Size 7 double sided knitting needles
- Size G crochet hook
- Black yarn
- A bit of red yarn
- A yarn needle
So if you have looked at the other beanies I’ve made the pattern for knitting them is simple. I am just knitting the whole beanie with black.

Once the hat is knit, it’s time to crochet the red hour glass.

Here is how I did the hour glass:
In red: ch 9
sc in the second ch from hook, finish row – 8
sc in every st
dec, sc 4, dc – 6
sc in every st
dc, sc 2, dc – 4
sc in every st
dc twice – 2
sc in every st
inc twice – 4
sc in every st
inc, sc 2, inc – 6
sc in every st
inc, sc 4, inc -8
sc in every st.
Fasten off leaving a long tail. Sew the hour glass to the side of the beanie
And there you go. One Black Widow beanie.
