So if I were given the chance to get to know Thor or Loki, I would go Thor every time. That doesn’t mean I hate Loki, but I just like Thor better. And if I did meet Thor, I would try to lift Mjolnir. Or I could just make my own Mjolnir.

This is not in preparation for Thor Ragnarok, because I’m not going to have the hammer done by then. However, I am  super excited to see the movie.

Materials:

  • 1 larger cardboard box
  • A box cutter
  • A printable found here
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • A pen
  • Tape
  • And many hours

First of all cut out the printable. I ended up printing them on 8.5 by 11 pieces of paper and taping some of the pieces together after cutting them out.  The guy who made this also has some instructional videos, so watch those if anything doesn’t make sense.

Trace, in pen, the cut out pattern, with the help of a ruler, onto the cardboard. It would probably be best to do this with cardboard underneath to catch all the stray cuts. I found it easier to trace out all the pieces before cutting them out.

Cut the pieces out with the help of a ruler. Be careful when using a box cutter, the blade is sharp. Try to cut as close to the line as you can. If you end up cutting into the piece just use the other side for the right side.

Once you have all the pieces cut out follow the guy who made this as he shows what to do next or wait until Christmas when I’m actually able to put this thing together and paint it. It’s totally up to you.
